FH Chapter 8

Chapter 8: The Evasive Memory

( Last time: In attempting to remember Syaoran, Sakura has injured herself and been sent to the hospital wing. However, she was successful in passing on the news to Kyo that someone tampered with their memories and that Snape was DEAD. Kyo and Syaoran have officially become friends and must now face this disturbing mystery. Join them as they wonder: What the heck is going on??? Forgive me for any misspellings as I have not the access to Spell check XD)( Oh ps. This is an extremely short chappie. )

Madame Pomfrey told Sakura her injury was by no means malignant, but that for goodness sakes, this time she would keep Sakura in the hospital wing long enough for her to heal. "And it's a good thing too!"

"That I broke my leg?!" Sakura asked, unsure what the nurse could have meant.

"Why of course not, dear! But if it had not been for your mishap, you would have had to still play in the quidditch match tomorrow night.

Sakura looked shocked. That's right! Her first Quidditch match was tomorrow!

"Don't overreact, that Slytherin bunch is full of shady characters who would be glad to send you limping back here. I'm talking about delinquents like Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and
Akito.

Sakura frowned. It didn't matter who she was up against. All she had asked for was a chance to help. "Wait, Kyo told me Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle were on the Slytherin team when the famous Harry Potter went to school here. That was five years ago."

"They were held back, dear. In my opinion, they did it on purpose. They probably couldn't stand the thought of not being able to bully people half their size..." She paused. "What did you say caused these injuries again?"

Sakura rubbed her head, that was wrapped within tight bandages. "I can't remember..."
Madame Pomfrey finished tending to Sakura's leg and sent her to bed. "Get some sleep. It won't do you any good to stay awake when your bones mend."

Syaoran looked at Kyo worriedly. "What has happened?"

Kyo shook his head. "I don't have a good answer to that. If you want to know, you'll have to ask Sakura."

Syaoran shook his head. "That won't do. Madame Pomfrey won't allow us. You know that!"

Kyo agreed. " Right. Well, do you remember going to Defense Against the Dark Arts class (DADA)? If you do, what did you do afterwords?

Syaoran remember seeing Fai. He had wanted to find Sakura, and then... His eyes widened in the realization." I was outside the hospital wing watching the quidditch field prepare for team tryouts."

There was a gap, and both of them knew it.

Kyo interrupted Syaoran's thoughts."Syaoran, when Sakura told me about this missing memory, she was convinced of one very disturbing fact."

Syaoran eyes him intensely."What?"

"Snape is dead, Syaoran."
